This is by far the simplest pallet project I have ever done, but that doesn’t mean it’s not one of the best! This rustic DIY picture frame made out of pallet wood has the perfect touch of farmhouse charm. What a great gift for any holiday or special occasion! These frames would also add charm to any rustic wedding.

Pallet Picture Frame Supplies:
- Pallet boards
- Staple Gun
- All Purpose Adhesive- This is always my go to!
- Jute
- Clip (these are the ones I used)
- Nail Gun (This one is the perfect weight and size)
- 1″ brad nails
- Saw (This one is my favorite for small projects like this)
- Optional: Paint or Stain
Pallet Picture Frame Instructions:
Step 1) Cut pallet wood. Cut 3 12″ boards and 2 9″ boards. If you choose to paint or stain your picture frame it is easiest to do it to the boards now before nailing the frame together. This is my favorite stain color!
Step 2) Place the 3 12″ boards side by side.
Step 3) Place the 2 9″ boards on top as in the photo above.
Step 4) Nail pallets together using your nailer and 1″ brad nails.
Step 5) Make sure you nail the cross board to each of the 3 boards. This is what will hold your frame together.
Step 6) Turn the frame over and staple jute on the back for a hanger.
Step 7) Using E6000, glue a clip on to your pallet picture frame hold your photo. Let Dry
Step 8) Clip you photo onto your frame and enjoy.
I love how this project turned out! I can’t wait to create different versions of this frame by painting or staining the pallet wood. These will definitely become one of my favorite DIY gift ideas and I hope it will become one of yours too!
