I help women make things people actually want, and then teach them how to sell them.
I’m a mom, a business owner, a painter, a self-taught woodworker, and a pretty damn good home renovator.
I need to make a confession: I am a DIY & craft junkie!
There’s nothing like the thrill of creating something with my own hands.

I’ve always loved being creative and making things. I was 8 yrs old when I completed my first DIY project. It was a candleholder made from hammering nails into an empty corn can.
After graduating in 1994, I jumped into corporate America and quickly realized I was miserable—every day felt like I prison sentence. I was constantly traveling and working long hours, which wasn’t exactly great for starting a family. When my first child was born in 1998, I knew I needed more flexibility to spend time with my family and escape the corporate grind.
In 1999, I decided to take a leap and started my own painting company. What started as a creative outlet turned into a successful business that’s still going strong today. It showed me that you can make a living doing what you love while having the flexibility to enjoy family life.
Then, in 2013, I took a chance and pitched my first DIY segment to a local TV station. It was making a birdfeeder out of an old chandelier. Little did I know, that single segment would launch over a decade of television and media appearances. Who could have predicted that a single DIY project demo would kickstart an entirely new chapter?
