Supplies for Placeholders:
- Wine Corks
- Sharp utility knife
- Assorted buttons
- Glue Gun
- Card Stock
- Paper punch if desired
Instructions for Placeholders:
Step 1) Â Using your utility knife Cut a 1/4″ slit in the side of each of your corks. This will now become the top of your placeholder.
Diva Tip: If your corks are brittle soak them in water before cutting them. Make sure they are dry before gluing them.
Step 2) Place a drop of hot glue on the flat side of a button.
Step 3) Â Place cork on glue (slit side up). Let dry
Step 4) Cut cardstock to fit inside your wine cork placeholders.
Step 5) Add names to the cardstock and put them in the slit.
Now you have an adorable last minute table decoration or place card holder! The best part is…you can reuse these for all of your holiday decorating. Switch out your cardstock and you have a whole new look.
