Have any of you had problems finding a product to remove carpet stains? I have had a heck of a time finding something that is tough enough to remove the stain that doesn’t leave a residue that attracts even more dust and dirt than before.
Many of you know I wear several hats: Professional contractor, DIY blogger, Public Speaker and Broadcast/Media Personality. A few years back I bought a building so we could run the contracting business out of one side and have a showroom/film set on the other side. In theory, this concept is awesome but in reality well…it has its challenges. LOL
The truth is…I am messy! When I film a DIY tutorial I get lost in the project and I forget that I am working on carpet. The result can sometimes lead to paint, stain, sawdust, glitter and even glue on the carpet. It wouldn’t be as big of an issue except I have clients that frequent the showroom. Bottom line: Paint, mud, grease and glue have never played nice with carpet…until now.
Meet my new best friend, Spray Nine. It says right on the bottle that it is a heavy duty cleaner, degreaser and disinfectant but I prefer to refer to is as awesomeness.
Here are two stains that we have tried to get out multiple times. One is paint and one is vegetable oil. (Don’t ask…it was a Halloween project)
Instructions to remove carpet stains:
Step 1) Spray the Spray Nine directly on the stain or soiled area.
Step 2) Using a clean soft rag, blot the stain.
Step 3) After a couple of minutes, I then turned the rag over and wiped across the stain until it was gone.
That’s it! It is really that easy. The stains are officially gone. Now I know I should be thinking I will never paint in here ever again right??? Actually, I’m thinking of all of the projects I can do in here now that I know this miracle spray will take care of my mistakes!
