Kitchen Cabinets for the Remodel:
We also found our kitchen cabinets at the building auction where we bought the windows. Again…this worked for us because we were starting from scratch. The entire set of cabinets were $2700 so buying them this way saved us a ton of money.
Here are the cabinets with 2 fresh coats of off-white paint. Aren’t they beautiful?
Cabinet Hardware and Accessories:
Hardware is one of the quickest and easiest ways to update the look of your existing cabinetry. It’s the “jewelry” that tops off that perfect outfit. I have always said there are 2 areas of your design that you never skimp on…your lighting and your cabinet hardware.
I chose the Studio Collection from Hickory Hardware for my kitchen cabinets. I opted for all pulls in stainless steel. I used 96mm for the drawers and 128mm for the doors…they are stunning!
I chose an 18″ appliance pull on the over-sized drawer under the oven and it looks fantastic.
I repeated the same pulls on the weathered gray island.
I chose these sleek modern pulls from Hickory Hardware’s Rotterdam collection in polished nickel to dress up these simple shaker-style vanities.
For the game room/man cave, I chose a combination of 96mm cup pulls in black for the drawers and 3″ standard pulls in black for the doors…all from the Hickory Hardware Craftsman collection. I love the rustic pulls with the Volcano granite.
