Our Lake House remodel is finished! Woohoo! Happy Dance! I am so excited its finished and I can’t wait to share the entire process with you. Over the course of the next 6 months, I will be sharing the good, the bad and the ugly of our remodeling experience. I will share our inspiration for each room, our budget, our game plan and what we actually spent to make it happen.

Today I thought I would start off by sharing the products we chose for our remodel.

I have provided affiliate links for your shopping convenience. If you buy something from clicking one of my links, I will get a commission from the sale. DIY remodeling ideas on a budget for your home A complete home remodel can be overwhelming! Kitchen, bathroom, game room, living room and outdoor remodeling

We purchased the property on September 30, 2015.   I remember this day so vividly because it was John and I’s 20th wedding anniversary.

It took us a little over a month to draw up the new plans for the house and get a survey so we could apply for our building permits. On November 13, 2015 our permits were issued and we were ready to go!

We started the demo process right away and what we found when we started removing drywall was terrifying.

With the demo behind us, it was time to select the products and materials to start rebuilding our dream home:
