Chalkboard Cabinet Door

Repurposing kitchen cabinets is not a new concept but one that never gets old.

I have made several projects using cabinet doors and drawers over the past few years. One of my favorites is the “cabinet door into the serving tray”.

You can find cabinets doors for just about nothing at your local Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

Supplies Needed for this project:

Cabinet door

Bondo or paintable caulk to fill holes

Putty knive

220 sandpaper or medium/fine sanding block

Rustoleum Chalkboard Paint

Foam roller set-up

Paintbrush

Paint tray

Sidewalk Chalk or other blackboard chalk

These chalkboards made from old cabinet doors are great for parties. Simply write down the menu and place on the buffet. You can also create one of these chalkboards for each of your children and pull them out for long car rides! Hours of entertainment 😉
