I love a good project using leftover scrap wood. These easy and inexpensive pumpkins are the perfect addition to your fall decor.

Supplies Needed:

  • Scrap wood. I used 2″ x 6″ wood cut in 3 sizes: 6″, 8″ and 10″.
  • Paint for the pumpkins. I used a burnt orange craft paint.
  • Sandpaper (optional)
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Decorative items: Cork for a stem, raffia, ribbon, burlap, twine, wood beads

Tools Needed:

  • Mitre Saw or Chop Saw

Instructions:

Cut your wood scraps to the desired sizes (see above for the sizes I used).

Paint the wood pieces using your craft paint. Let dry.

Sand edges to distress (optional). Add decorative items.

For the stem, I attached a cork to the top using hot glue. Tie ribbon, twine, raffia, etc. to the cork stem for more interest.
