The Diva of DIY, Leanne Lee, has another upcycling project for you today! The Diva of DIY will show you how easy it is to make a pallet wall clock! These pallet wall clocks are a great way to add texture to your space and keep these pallets from being tossed in the burn pile.

If you are like us and have an addiction to Pinterest {YOU are following me right?!?}, you have seen all the cool things you can do with pallets! Well we weren’t sure it could be done, but the Diva of DIY herself, Leanne Lee gives pallets yet another purpose and demonstrates how to make a wall clock from old pallet.
Pallet Wall Clock Supplies:
Pallet wood
FrogTape ShapeTape
Clock mechanism
#8 x 1″ Wood Screws
Drill with Phillips head
5/16″ Spade (paddle) bit
Assorted paints, stencils, etc… to decorate your clock
The most difficult part of this project is getting your hands on a pallet. Check your local lumber yards, big box stores and even Craigslist for pallets. It is illegal to take them without permission!
Pallet Wall Clock Instructions:

Next, cut 4 boards in equal lengths. I chose 15″ which makes a square clock. Then cut 2 more boards 1″ smaller than the other 4 boards. (These 2 smaller boards will be used to hold the other 4 boards together)

Other options: Stain it with Minwax stain, leave it natural and clear coat it with Rustoleum Clear Matte Spray Paint, or embellish it with a stencil from Royal Design Studios
