Not at all! This event is all about teaching you how to make some new DIY/Craft projects. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to:

  • make projects for fun.
  • make gifts for friends & family.
  • to earn some extra money selling their projects part-time.
  • turn a side-hustle into a full-time business.

Most of the projects I teach use a few basic power tools: a miter saw, a brad nailer or drill, and an orbital sander. We will also periodically use a jigsaw, sawz-all, and/or scroll saw. If buying tools is not in the budget…no problem. I will discuss alternative ways to complete the projects without these tools.

With that being said, if you are serious about starting to DIY and/or level up your craft game, you will eventually want to invest in your own basic set of power tools. You could also ask a neighbor or family member if you can borrow their tools to practice when needed. If you have a DIY Bestie, you can go in on tools together to keep the costs down.
