I was the person who took old pieces of wood furniture that had been in my basement not being used and began painting it so I would fall in love with it and actually use it! That means you can do the painting in your favorite color, not some brands favorite color! It makes coordinating with your decor a breeze and a fraction of the cost!

Stir it up and you can start painting with your creamy chalky finish paint! A little paint goes a long way but you are in luck… put you leftover paint in an air tight container and save it for another project. The paint will not harden and dry up like some of the homemade chalk style paint recipes you will find.

*Diva Tip: If you double the mix to 8TBL you have chalkboard paint! Yep! Chalkboard paint in any color you choose!
