The chaos is about to begin! Picture this scenario: It’s Christmas morning and the kids are yelling frantically about everything Santa dropped off under the tree. Then the little one yells “Mom, can you open this, PLEASE?!?”. So of course, you oblige. Watching the kids’ faces light up is the best part of the holiday! Unfortunately, as you dig into the gift that looks like so much fun, you begin to lose your ever-loving mind.

Why is this thing taped to the box with all these bread ties?

Oh wait! Now I need cutters to cut the plastic wire that’s twisted around the toys around to the cardboard box….has anyone seen my wire cutters?

I hope I didn’t put them in the garbage bag with the wrapping paper…

Oh no! We’re out of AAA batteries!

If you’ve been there more than once, you’re not alone. It’s a common problem.

The solution:

Create a Must Have Basket for Christmas Morning. Among the Christmas morning madness, you’ll literally have your stuff together. Keep your basket within arms reach of the tree to keep the controlled chaos from spiraling out of control! Here’s what I recommend for keeping in your basket for Christmas Morning…a lot of it is probably found in a few junk drawers throughout your house.
