I always cringe when I open up a cabinet door and there are post-it notes and papers with important information taped to the back of the cabinet. It not only looks untidy but the tape or stickers always leave a gummy feel on the door. What If I could show you a better idea for keeping that all important information still in that exact place but it looks better? Well I can, let’s transform the back of that door into a chalkboard! Step 3) Clean the entire back of the cabinet with a degreaser.

Step 4) Using painter’s tape, tape off the area you want to turn into a chalkboard. Press edges to make sure it is sealed to the cabinet.

I have an armoire in my home that I use to leave my boys notes. When there is not something I need to remind them about I usually leave them a note to start their day off with an uplifting thought. Ok, well I leave them a note hoping it makes them smile seeing I care enough to do this but let’s face it, I am a mom to 3 teenage boys so who knows. It makes me feel good anyway. When they boys were younger and had a babysitter I would leave her notes here as well. It works great for our family.
